The Formula Pro USA Western Championship Presented by Exclusive Racing stormed into its halfway point with a record-setting event at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Hosting Rounds 5 and 6 of the championship calendar, the series enjoyed a large turnout and featured two days of intense, wheel-to-wheel racing across both the Formula 3 and Formula 4 classes.
Formula Pro USA F3
The F3 field was dominated by Bruno Ribeiro, racing with Kiwi Motorsport, who delivered a perfect weekend sweep. Ribeiro claimed victory in both rounds, logged the fastest lap in each race, and walked away with maximum points—a significant boost in his championship campaign. On top of that, Bruno turned the fastest lap recorded by FPUSA in F3 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Sunday with a 1.21.620 in Qualifying and a 1.22.364 in Sunday’s race.
Barrett Wolfe of Crosslink Motorsports followed Ribeiro across the line in second place on both days, while Larry Schnur of World Speed Motorsports showing remarkable consistency with back-to-back third-place finishes, allowing him to maintain a strong championship lead.
With six of 12 rounds completed, the F3 points standings are as follows:

- James Lawley (Atlantic Racing Team): 50 points
- Nicolas Stati (Atlantic Racing Team): 40 points

Formula Pro USA F4
The F4 class featured a breakout performance from Zach Fourie of Kiwi Motorsports, who also swept the weekend with two commanding wins and two fastest laps. His flawless run moves him to just one point behind championship leader Yashom Kapoor of World Speed Motorsports. Zach also turned in one of the fastest F4 laps recorded at Laguna with a 1.30.722 in Sunday’s qualifying.
Kapoor maintained his points lead with a solid second-place finish on Saturday and fourth on Sunday, while teammate Ridgeley Welsh of World Speed Motorsports remained in the points mix with a fourth-place finish on Saturday.
Aiden Zelaya of Jensen Global Advisors, rebounded on Sunday for second, with Ridgely Welsh on the podium in third place. Yashom Kapoor, Ayden Kohut, Ana Palestro, Carolyn Fitzgerald, Max Parker and Joshua Griffith made up the remainder of the field.

“This was a milestone event for Formula Pro USA,” explained Brent Morgan. “The size of the field, the level of competition, and the energy in the paddock reflect the incredible growth from event to event.”
The championship now takes a summer break before resuming action at Sonoma Raceway, September 12–14, where the battle for the 2025 titles continues.
