ANA PALESTRO SEEKS FEMALE CHAMPIONSHIP AT BUTTONWILLOW RACEWAY 2025 SEASON FINALE
Video above is riding with Ana Palestro driving the #2 JENSEN F4 race car during qualifying at Sonoma Raceway in the Formula Pro USA Championship in September 2025.
JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, “We started Ana on her young race car driver development program in summer 2024. She had no previous karting or race car driving experience, and perhaps better perspective is how at the time Ana was a shy 14 year old grade 8 student curious to become a race car driver. Throughout the 2025 season, Ana has become a strong, confident, and driven person – traits that will surely serve her well for years to come in both her racing career and all aspects of her adult life.”

Formula 4 is the entry level junior open-wheel race category on the FIA development ladder system intended to identify and train future drivers to compete in the Formula One World Championship. JENSEN owns four Ligier JS F4 pro spec race cars, and there are multiple championships across the USA that are terrific for new drivers to learn how to optimize their driving techniques and to gain competition experience.
Formula Pro USA Championship is one such championship, where the 2025 season featured six race weekends at iconic California circuits including Laguna Seca and Sonoma Raceway.
Ana’s near term goal with her racing career is to earn a selection to join the grid of the all female race series F1 Academy. That program provides a key stepping stone for young female drivers to ultimately race at the pinnacle of the sport in Formula One. The 2025 championship features seven race weekends at Formula One events all over the world, including at two of the United States races in Miami and Las Vegas.

In advance of the season finale, Ana will take another big step in her young driver development program by testing one of the JENSEN team’s Ligier F3 race cars at Buttonwillow Raceway.
